Texas A&M Researcher Serving As Camera Operator On NASA’s Curiosity Mission

When NASA launches its largest and most advanced Martian rover on a mission to study the past climate of our planetary neighbor — now set for Saturday — Texas A&M University atmospheric scientist Mark Lemmon will be part of the team operating the Mars Science Laboratory rover, also known as Curiosity, that will touch down at Gale Crater in August.

The launch of the Mars Science Laboratory is scheduled for 9 a.m. (CST) Saturday ( Nov. 26) with a launch window open until Dec. 18.
